Pip Payton was Senior captain in 1971 and the secretary of the club in the 1970’s. He has been branch manager of Lloyd Bank. He died in 1986. His ashes were scattered on the course.

Hall of Fame Seniors’ Cups

This is a Stableford, qualifying competition played from the white tees off full handicap. It is usually played in conjunction with a Farmer Stableford but in one division with a maximum handicap of 24. The winner is invited to represent the club in a regional final.

Hall of Fame Trophy

The Cup was presented by Bill Foulkes who was Senior Captain in 2004. Bill is the owner of the sailing chandlery “Aladdin’s Cave”.
